GlasHouse - Danish Glass Art

GlasHouse I have always had a keen interest in working with shapes, colours and figures. At a seminar in 2000, I was introduced to papermaking and how to use it with pictures, collage and glass. That led me to working with glass for the first time. Since then I have participated in many seminars and workshops and glass art have been my hobby, until a few years ago, when I started exhibiting my glass and a new door opened for me as an artist.

I work with cold glass technique, which means I work with the glass before it is baked, also called fusing. I mainly work with float, artista, bullseye and dicroix glass. I also use metals and other exciting materials that work together with glass.

I thoroughly enjoy making jewellery for women who likes to wear something unique.

I also design glass pictures for decoration and I end the year with a special and unique Christmas collection.

What makes glass art so truly unique is that depending on the light, especially sun light, your piece of glass will have so many different looks - very unique. Glass art is in my point of view, something living that brings inspiration and joy.

All my art is made with my own hands - it is what is happening around me this moment that inspires me, so therefore I never make identical art pieces. Every piece is unique!

About my Glass jewellery To wear a piece of jewellery can be extremely beautiful and very personal. The glass jewellery I make is unique and every piece is something truly special.

The uniqueness about my glass jewellery is that each piece will change with light and shade, and with what clothes and colours you are wearing. Your glass jewellery is a living piece of art.
