My name is Heidi Laursen Habel, I was born in Denmark and moved to Australia in 1991 when I married an Australian farmer.

I live on a farm 300km North of Melbourne and have three children, Sofia, Anna & William. I have always had an interest in giftware and interior decoration, and my desire to show the world what Australia has to offer, became the start of Unique Australian.

The business is run by my self and my sister Helle, who lives in Denmark. She is the local contact for our Scandinavian customers.

We are an Australian company that offer high quality, Australian made products. We have an exciting range of handmade ceramics for children, candles, woollen rugs, raggedy dolls, oilskin coats and a unique range of oilskin bags.

Our products are all originals and are a reflection of the Australian, relaxed approach to life, our need for practical, enduring yet aesthetically appealing items.
